Guillaume's story with bamboo began years before the first can of Juno Bamboo Water was ever produced. After leaving Switzerland at the age of 23, Guillaume moved to Hong Kong to pursue a career in finance. It was during his five years working in Asia that he first discovered the extraordinary benefits of bamboo—a plant that would eventually become the foundation of Juno.
"I was initially inspired by the story of the Red Bull founder. I wanted to create a similar success but with a focus on a healthy drink," our founder shares. "During my travels across Asia, I visited a lot of traditional medicine shops in Taiwan, South Korea, China, and Japan, and saw that they use bamboo in traditional medicine because it's packed with natural antioxidants and precious minerals. It also helps to support immunity and purify the body." This unique discovery of bamboo's health benefits was a turning point in Guillaume's journey.
It was these experiences that planted the seed for what would eventually become Juno Bamboo Water. Guillaume realized that by taking bamboo's natural wellness properties and creating a beverage, he could bring something unique and healthy to the global market.

As the founder of Juno Bamboo Water, Guillaume's days are dynamic and varied, a reflection of Juno's continuous growth and evolution. "No two days are ever the same at Juno Bamboo Water, which I enjoy, even though it can be energy-consuming," he says. "A typical day starts with meeting our new Sales Manager to discuss short-term goals and align them with our long-term objectives. From there, I prioritize urgent tasks first." This dynamic routine keeps him energized and focused on Juno's growth.
In the early mornings, Guillaume checks in on the business—reviewing emails and sales figures—and focuses on aligning the team's priorities. "At the end of the day, I enjoy going for a long run to clear my mind," he shares. This dynamic routine keeps him energized and focused on Juno's growth.
One of Guillaume's primary focuses at the moment is preparing for Juno Bamboo Water's second round of fundraising. "This phase of growth requires a lot of attention to detail. I spend a lot of time meeting with potential investors and refining our strategy to ensure we continue to scale the business sustainably," he explains.

Guillaume's time in Asia has had a lasting impact on his entrepreneurial journey. The philosophy of health and wellness that he encountered there, such as the strong focus on prevention when it comes to health and the use of plants, herbs, and natural remedies to maintain well-being, continues to shape the ethos of Juno Bamboo Water.
One of the key things Guillaume learned during his travels was the importance of sustainable, plant-based ingredients. "I discovered that bamboo was not only healthy but also an incredibly ethical ingredient. It grows very quickly, requires little water, and doesn't need pesticides. Bamboo is highly renewable," he shares. "I knew it was the perfect fit for a brand focused on sustainability and wellness."
For Guillaume, bamboo represents the intersection of health and sustainability—a balance that he has woven into the DNA of Juno Bamboo Water. "By promoting the use of bamboo, we aim to contribute to a healthier lifestyle for individuals and a more sustainable future for the planet," he explains.

While Guillaume's days are packed with meetings, fundraising efforts, and strategic planning, he makes it a priority to maintain balance. "I've learned the importance of taking time for myself," he says. "I like to go for long runs in the evenings—it's a great way to clear my mind and recharge."
Spending time with family and friends is also vital to Guillaume's well-being. "Having a solid support system is essential. I'm incredibly grateful for the people in my life who help keep me grounded," he says. "It's not just about building a business—it's about building something that aligns with my values and can make a positive impact on the world."
The Road Ahead: Looking to the Future
Looking to the future, Guillaume is excited about the opportunities that lie ahead for Juno Bamboo Water. "We aim to establish a strong presence in the UK while meeting the growing demand for our products abroad," he says. "Our plan includes raising a second round of funding by the end of 2024 to support our ongoing growth and further our exploration of international markets." His vision for Juno Bamboo Water is to make it the leading global brand for bamboo-based hydration, bringing the benefits of bamboo to as many people as possible.
